Union Cabinet clears ‘One Rank One Pension’ revision for ex-servicemen; check the rank-wise increase

The Union Cabinet has cleared ‘One Rank, One Pension’ revision for ex-servicemen. This was announced by Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur at a press conference in New Delhi on Friday.

It was enforced in July 2014..
25 lakh to get pension.

The decision will likely benefit over 25 lakh ex-servicemen. It will impose Rs 8500 crore further cost on the union exchequer.
