Sensex, Nifty updates on 22nd April 2024: As per provisional figures, Nifty 50 increases 0.86% or 189.40 to 22,336.40 and BSE Sensex rose 0.77% or 560.29 to 73648.62 points. Indian equity markets traded higher on Monday after a 4-day losing streak following a rally in Asian stocks and a decline in crude oil prices. Stocks advanced on BSE at 3 pm on April 22, 2024, were 2,659 against 1,208 stocks that declined; 164 stocks remain unchanged. Total stocks traded were 4,031.
